Women in Mining Timmins was proud to be represented by Co-Chairs Hillary Laughren and Gabriella Desmarais at this year’s Jill of All Trades event at Northern College on May 14, connecting with students exploring pathways into mining, trades, and industrial careers. Creating opportunities for women in industry goes far beyond recruitment, it’s about mentorship, visibility, and building community at every stage of the journey.

Last night reminded us that women in mining truly rock! 🎉

We had a full house at the Women in Mining Timmins Networking and Mentor Social, where women across the sector came together to share stories, make connections, and mine for new opportunities. Every moment reminded us why this network is so strong.
