This week we had the opportunity to join Mike & Greta as they prepared sigabon and bannock in Cochrane, Kap and Timmins for Kashechewan members. We got to spend the day with students in Kap and play some games with them! 😊 We also took in goose and bannock teachings offered by Mike & Greta too! 😊 Thank you to Omushkego Education - Mushkegowuk Council for inviting us along!
We are in TTN tomorrow for the Nation to Nation gathering event for the evacuees from all sites and will be busy running games for the youth!

Yesterday, the Mush Youth Department had an amazing time attending the Pow Wow hosted by ESCHS! πŸŽ‰

We were excited to host a booth where youth could stop by, connect with us, pick up some merch, and enter our bike draw. It was wonderful to see so many young people come out and participate in the festivities.

A big congratulations to our lucky bike draw winners, Aliana and Parker! πŸš²πŸ‘ We hope you enjoy your new bikes and have an incredible summer filled with adventure, fun, and great memories.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to seeing you at future community events! 🌞✨
