Exciting news for Terrace's new skatepark!
The City of Terrace has just shared the feasibility study for the Skeena View Park Skatepark Project!
A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed, shared ideas, and supported this project so far. We're excited to see it moving forward.

Come show your support!
We'll be at City Council tonight, October 13th, at 7:30 PM at City Hall to share an update on the project.
Everyone is welcome to join us. Together, let's make this skatepark a reality in 2027!

The City of Terrace is pleased to present the completed feasibility study for a new skatepark in our community. Thank you to all of you who attended open houses, filled out surveys, or participated in this process. We also want to give a specific thank you to Terrace Skateparks Association, who have been pivotal in this process to date. While this project is not currently in the City of Terrace 5-year capital plan, we look forward to seeing where this may go in coming years.

It’s so great to see the excitement and enthusiasm at the skatepark! There’s something special about seeing everyone out there having fun - skateboarders, scooter riders, BMXers, rollerbladers and everyone in between.

The skatepark is a place to ride, but also a place to gather, connect, have fun and enjoy being part of the community. Everyone is welcome, and everyone has a place here. ❤️

Seeing all this energy and enthusiasm gives us even more fuel to keep working alongside with City of Terrace to make the new skatepark at Skeena View Park a reality.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and grateful to everyone who continues to support the project. Let’s keep the good vibes rolling! 🙌

It’s happening!
The remediation work at the current skatepark is going really well, and today was the first day of pouring concrete! 🙌
A big thank you to the City of Terrace for investing in the current skatepark and helping make it a safer and more enjoyable place for our community to ride.
Meanwhile, we’ve been working really hard this summer to complete the concept design for the new skatepark at Skeena View Park. There’s been a lot of work happening behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to share the design with you soon! 👀
More exciting things to come! 🛹
