Wow, what an honour to see the Foundation on Sylvan Lake's Awards of Execellence list!! Thank you to those who nominated us, to our many partners, supporters and volunteers, and to our community for all the opportunities to be involved ❤️

Today we’re celebrating our 2026 Awards of Excellence nominees!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to accept their nomination and share more about themselves, their business or organization, and the work they’re doing in our community. We know it takes time to reflect on your accomplishments and put them into words, and we appreciate everyone who did.

From here, all eligible nominations will be sent to our independent judging panel, with finalists announced September 9.

Foundation volunteers Tracy, Rob, Pam and Lynsey weren’t messing around tonight- a sell out for the 50/50! Though it isn’t the first time the fans have brought the jackpot to the limit, it’s definitely the fastest! Before the 6th inning even started, the sales were forced to come to a close. Congratulations to long-time seaon ticket holder Doug B who held the winning ticket! A very deserving win 🙌

We are beyond grateful and even brought to tears seeing the unconditional support from out community. We do our best to put these funds to work and dedicate everything we can to mental health initiatives in Central Alberta

Another record breaking evening for the 2026 season- an impressive jackpot raised by the Kind Vibes ladies! Congratulations to Corey B. - the winner who went home with a cheque larger than many of the total pots from earlier in the season 😳 thank you all for your support of the Gulls Give Foundation. We’ll see you back at the ballpark for the next postseason game!

The highest jackpot total so far of the 2026 season! Thank you so much to Payton, Becky, Brittany, Kay, Sandy and Carla who came to the ballpark last night to represent the Joel Kelts Wellness Bursary and the Neutral Hills Learning & Community Connection Centre. It was a busy night and they managed to navigate the crowds easily! Congratulations to lucky winner Wyatt M.! 🔥

Congratulations to Traci on taking home tonight's Gulls Give Foundation 50/50 jackpot!

A huge thank you to Scott, Ryan, Chris and also Chris from the Red Deer Kinsmen for spending another evening with us at the ballpark. As the Kinsmen organizations prepares to celebrate 90 years of serving Central Alberta, we are so grateful for their continued partnership and the time they dedicate to helping us raise funds for mental health initiatives in our community.

This was their second game volunteering with the Foundation this season, and we can't wait to welcome them back to Gulls Field again soon 🙏 and thank you to everyone who purchased a 50/50 ticket and continues to support the Gulls Give Foundation!
