Celebrating the end of the year the best way we know how to in New Waterford, with a potluck full of amazing food and even better company! Thursday, we got to meet our newest honorary learner, 2-month old Rowan. Cheers to a year of growing, learning, and laughing together!

Classes are officially over for or Sydney evening learners! To wrap up a year of hard work and dedication, we celebrated at a local restaurant. Congratulations to everyone, we are proud of your hard work!

Our Sydney morning class took a trip to our local library yesterday to learn about all of the wonderful services they offer, while looking for some good reading to take home.
A few have even signed up for the summer reading challenge!!

Yesterday, we finished the Wellbeing Blooms mini program. Our wonderful group celebrated by mapping out their long-term self-care plans and identifying their personal strengths.
We ended the session with Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" a perfect reminder that "every little thing is gonna be alright!"
We are proud of this group's personal growth and peer support. Here's to carrying our tools for wellness forward.

Our Sydney learners took to the streets this morning to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and explore our downtown core. Along the way, they learned the history behind the 'A Land Of Our Own' statue that was created by William Ernest Brown.

This is how we roll! Evening learners had their annual field trip to the bowling alley and what a fun night it was! We have some very good bowlers amongst us.

Scammers don't stand a chance with this crowd! Thursday, as part of our Building Your Toolkit program, learners were given a quiz on online safety. Everyone aced this with perfect scores. Well done everyone!

Sadly today was the last session of Making Meals with our Sydney learners for the year. Together they worked hard and created a delicious version of a cost efficient chili with biscuits.
Great way to end the year with a tasty meal!
