Hello Young Birders!!

Join us this Sunday, September 27th, at 9am for a forest bird walk at Birch Grove Park!
This area has a nice forested trail in the back with a pond-perfect for a morning stroll with the birds!

With fall upon us, make sure to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footing (trail might be mucky if it’s been raining☔️).

We will meet towards the back of the park where the pond is! There is plenty of parking space in the back and along the gravel road in the park.

Dont forget to bring your binoculars and tell your friends! We look forward to seeing you there!🦅

Hello young birders!!🦉

We’re back! Life has been busy and the weather hasn’t been cooperating in our favour lately😅

With that being said, the forecast for this Sunday looks great, so please join us for our next bird walk this Sunday, September 13th at 5pm for a coastal evening bird walk at Big Glace Bay Beach!! With fall approaching and shorebirds still showing up, we wanted to visit the location of our very first bird walk before the summer ends!!

Hello Young Birders!!

Join us this Sunday, August 16th at 8:30am at the Pottle Lake Watershed for a bird walk in the forest!🌲🦉

This beautiful area has a nice forested hiking path with views of pottle lake, so come join us to see what birds call this place home! As always, make sure to wear proper foot wear and dress for the weather!☀️

Hi young birders!!
Did you know it’s the most wonderful time of the year?! ✨It’s the start of shorebird season!✨

Join us this Sunday, August 2nd at 8am at Schooner Pond/Morien Bar for our next bird walk! Since shorebirds have begun migrating from the Arctic to our coasts, it’s a perfect time to be out looking for these wonderful birds!

Thank you to everyone who joined our bird walk this past Sunday!☀️🦅

It was a beautiful evening at Dominion Beach Provincial Park, with a total of 28 bird species seen!

✨Highlights from this walk:✨
•Great Blue Heron catching an American Eel.
•Hudsonian Whimbrel flying by!
•A small group of Black Guillemots in the ocean!
•The young foxes and all the aquatic life of course!!

Thanks to all those who joined us for our bird walk and enjoyed all of the birds, aquatic creatures, and seashells that Dominion Beach had to offer🌊
