Summer camp kitchen life is a little like a roller coaster… with aprons. ☕

One minute you’re calmly buttering toast or bagels, the next you’re trying to remember who asked for dairy free, where the extra ketchup disappeared to, and why 60 hungry campers and staff all seem to arrive at the serving line at exactly the same moment. 😄
At the end of the day, every sandwich made, every veggie served, and every cookie shared is another small way of caring for the amazing campers and staff who fill this place with life. It’s the lovin from the oven that counts .
It’s busy, it’s messy, it’s exhausting… and honestly, it’s a joy.

Here’s to full coffee cups, grateful hearts, and serving with a smile on the last day of summer camp❤️☕

So grateful for our staff and volunteers out at camp! It really does take a village! You know who you all are! What would we do without you?

A hike up the hill for the stations of the Cross was a highlight of yesterday’s events. We ended the day with taps and the lowering of the flag. It’s been a great couple nights!

Today is the day!!! We have spent the week praying and preparing in anticipation of each and every camper! Let the adventure begin! We cant wait to see what goodness and growth await us this week!

Summer Camp food can sometimes get a bad rap. But if you know our camp cook, her motto is
“Lovin from the Oven”.
Today, a staff member (who is a hearty eater)
had to go home overnight for a family commitment and the moment they got home their mom said. “You must be starving…what can I make you”…and they said “nah I’m good, camp food is awesome” We have the best cook!!
(Don’t worry mom…all are being fed well 🌟)

Hello friends of Camp Lemieux!

This has been a year of lots of work and lots of challenges for those who have served on the board of Camp Lemieux over the last 12 months, but the hard work that all these good folks have put into camp is paying off! There is LOTS of renewal happening!

Please pray for all concerned as we put the finishing touches on a jam packed, action filled week of camp from July 12-17.

- We have an amazing team of 15 counsellors and volunteers.
- An amazing and loving cook is awaiting the arrival of our campers in the kitchen.
- We have a maintenance crew that has been working really hard to have the grounds in ship shape.
- We will welcome 40 campers for the week.

Please pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit over the whole adventure. And also that camp continues. It's tradition of turning nobody away, but there are folks that will need some assistance in order to join us. If you are willing to donate to sponsor a camper please let us know.
