We look forward to seeing you! The museum has a remarkable collection of artifacts, buildings, machinery and equipment. It has wonderful displays of material that show life as it was over the years, since the settlement of the Swan River Valley.

Taylor School was named in honor of Mr R.G. Taylor. This Bible was a Christmas gift from his pupils in 1901.

This is Mavis(AKA Cindy). She is not a stray. She is a dedicated employee of the Swan Valley Historical Museum. She is very well paid and takes her duties very seriously. But as I have come to find out will take donations of treats. She is taking a well deserved break at the office. If you see her give her a pat for job well done. But please don't take her everyone love to see her come and go through the day.
