🌈 How to Cope When You’re in a Crisis 🌈

🦋 1. Pause and Breathe

Take one slow breath at a time. You do not have to solve everything right now.

🌻 2. Reach Out

Text, call, or message someone you trust. You don’t have to carry it alone.

⭐ 3. Ground Yourself

Name:

* 5 things you see

* 4 things you feel

* 3 things you hear

* 2 things you smell

* 1 thing you taste

🐻 4. Be Kind to Yourself

Talk to yourself like you would a friend who is struggling.

🌊 5. Let the Wave Pass

Big emotions feel permanent, but they change with time.

🎨 6. Do One Small Thing

Drink water, take a shower, cuddle a pet, or step outside for a minute.

💚7. Ask for Professional Help

Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.

🌟 Remember

“You don’t have to get through the whole day. Just get through this moment.”

🚨 If you’re thinking about harming yourself or feel unable to stay safe, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately, or reach out to a trusted person right now. # Call 988 ❤️💚

As temperatures rise again, we wanted to gently acknowledge something that often goes unspoken.

While summer is often associated with happiness, holidays and making memories, the reality is that warmer weather isn’t enjoyable for everyone.

For some people, hot days can bring feelings of loneliness, anxiety or low mood. Seeing others out socialising or seemingly enjoying the season can sometimes make difficult emotions feel even heavier.

Heat can also take its toll physically. Poor sleep, disrupted routines and feeling uncomfortable or overstimulated can all make everyday life feel more challenging.

If summer feels hard for you, you’re not alone, and there’s nothing wrong with feeling differently to those around you. Your experience is valid, whatever the weather.

Please be kind to yourself, take things one day at a time, and remember that support is there if you need it. 💚

Hugs. Please stay.
