SEMO foundation operates as a non profit group. We are a registered Society in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Our main objective is to raise and forward all net proceeds from the events, contests and fundraisers we conduct to registered charities and individuals or families that may need a helping hand with their day-to-day requirements when it comes to food, clothes, shelter or hardships. With SEMO foundation, you can be assured the collected funds will be put to good use to support our local community. It was our pleasure to drop by with support for the great folks at - their Team and Volunteers are supporting over 2000 local families this season. With local requests on the increase, it’s amazing to see how Surrey Christmas Bureau makes magic happen. Thanks to your contributions for enabling us to deliver funds to Team Keian’s and toys Annual Toy Drive this past week. Both groups have something in common and that’s to deliver joy to children and families across Metro Vancouver. We are proud to do our part for both of these amazing families that do so much more for other families during the Holiday Season ❤️ 💚

On behalf of the children and families at BC Children’s Hospital and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, we extend our deepest gratitude for the success of this year’s toy drive.
Thanks to your compassion and hard work, we successfully delivered 3,483 toys - an incredible feat that will bring moments of joy, comfort, and distraction to children facing challenging health battles this holiday season and beyond.
This massive undertaking would not have been possible without the dedication and support of several key partners and individuals. Your commitment to our community’s children is truly inspiring: Burnaby RCMP, Staff Sgt Major John Buis and fellow RCMP Veterans, Surrey RCMP, Langley RCMP, Manny Kang and the Semo Foundation, Kim Wishinski and Kids in the Grove, Psychic Medium Melissa White & Victor Ghirra Toy Drive.
Every single toy - from the smallest hot wheels to the largest play set, represents a light in a child’s day. Knowing that so many in our community came together to make this happen is truly heartwarming.
Thank you for making a real and positive difference in the lives of children receiving care at BC Children’s Hospital and Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

Today, Sept 8 marks the 24th anniversary of our Mother, SEMO leaving us for the heavens. In her memory, our family is honoured to announce the next fundraiser gala will take place Saturday evening Nov 15 at the Riverside Signature Banquet Hall in Surrey BC. It was our pleasure to take part in the Back-to-School event supporting 75 students with supplies and motivation for the new school year.
Thank you for taking on the organization and Kal Dosanjh for the inspirational message for all. As well, thanks to Maria from Richmond News for the media support and coming out to be a part of it all. - Congratulations to all involved on a successful event 👏

On Tuesday, August 19th, Henry Schein Foundation, Islamic Relief Canada, MidMain Dental Clinic, BC Lions, Surrey Eagles, Richmond Sunrise Rotary, DuMonde Helping Hands, SEMO Foundation, Richmond RCMP and Riverside Banquet Halls will welcome 75 children and their families from KidsPlay, Richmond Schools and Richmond Food Bank to enjoy a back-to-school event. The event came to fruition in hopes of giving kids a strong start to their new school year.
