In addition to addressing the basic needs of orphan children through monthly monetary support, Child Aid International actively seeks projects to help develop the children into healthy, caring, and confident individuals. The projects include: school admissions, uniform, school supplies, and clothing support; annual food distribution to about 2000 to 3000 widows and needy families; Eid and Christmas gifts for orphan children; and, when funds are available, medical bill payment assistance and general house repairing assistance. Child Aid International is open to partnering with other not-for-profit organizations to work on projects for the assistance of children, internally displaced families, and any families in need of assistance globally. Child Aid International makes every effort to minimize the administrative costs, so that every amount that is donated is given directly towards the support of the orphan children.
