🃏 Calling all card sharks and casual players

The Surrey Central Lions Club is hosting a Community Cribbage Tournament on Wednesday, October 7, and you’re invited! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or you haven't picked up a deck in years, come join us for a night of fun, friendly competition, and community spirit.

💰 The Stakes: $100 First Prize! (Minimum 20 players guaranteed)

📍 **Where:** Tynehead Hall (9568 168 St, Surrey — corner of 96th & 168th)
There is lots of free parking available.

⏰ **When:** Wednesday, October 7.
Doors open at 5:00 PM; first game starts at 6:00 PM.

🎟️ **Entry:** Only $20 per person.

🌭 Hungry? We’ll have a concession running with hot dogs, potato salad, cookies, pop, coffee, and tea available for purchase!

🔰 Don't know how to play? No problem! If you're out of practice or brand new to "Crib," we are happy to show you the ropes and help you get started.

Cribbage is a classic card game played with a standard 52-card deck and a cribbage board. While it may look unusual at first — especially because of the board and pegs — cribbage is easy to learn once you understand the basic flow of the game.

Bobbi receives a Certificate of Appreciation from the International Lions Christmas Ship as she completed her term as a Director of the organization, and as a Pirate, a Critter and an Elf on the Ship.

The International Lions Christmas Ship has been bringing Santa and Mrs. Claus to the children of the Gulf Islands and the San Juan Islands for over 50 years. The organization charters a boat each December and fundraises to cover the costs.

This Wednesday!

We get a huge rush of customers at 5pm, and then there is a longer wait to get dinner, because we can't serve 80 people at the same time -- this isn't fast food and we are all volunteers.

It is much quieter at 6:30. It is quicker to get a seat and get served.

We're an active and friendly Lions Club in Central Surrey, serving locally and abroad through volunteering and fundraising.
