The Stone Church in Heward, Saskatchewan is imposing. It reflects an incredible positive spirit and sense of community that was present throughout the rural communities in Saskatchewan.

The church was designed by Regina architect A.J. Rowley for the Anglican congregation. The vision was to replicate a Gothic Revival-styled country church in England. The fieldstone church is unique in Saskatchewan.

The community of Heward has a tiny population - although when you are driving through - there is a sense of vibrancy, This Anglican Church is no longer in service. It was built in 1913 and is now maintained by community volunteers.
