We provide grants to registered non-profit organization in these communities. Deadline is June 30th of each year for community granting. We also administer endowment funds and scholarships/award funds. Create a legacy--ask us how! We are in the office 293 Main Street Stonewall on Mondays and Wednesdays and some Fridays, 9:30AM to 3:30PM. We work remotely on Tuesdays and are closed on Thursdays.

ICF's Perry van der Zweep delivered a cheque to Doug Carter of the Balmoral Community Hall!

In 2025, the Hall applied for a Community Grant to purchase materials to refinish the wooden floors in the main hall. The project is now complete, and the ICF was happy to pay out $2000 towards the project. The funds came from the Leona and Larry Baker Fund, the Restricted for the RM of Rockwood Fund, and the Thomas Sill Manitoba Fund. People will be able to safely dance there for years to come! 💃🕺

In 2025, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Stephen applied for a Community Grant to build a new deck and wheelchair accessible ramp. Their old ones were too steep and the deck had rotten boards.

Look at it now! 🤩The Church has completed their project and the ICF has paid out their Community Grant in the amount of $2000. The funds came from the Restricted for the RM of Rockwood Fund and the Thomas Sill Manitoba Fund.

Terry Drummon reported that the new deck, steps and ramp make access to the building much safer. The building is used as a community gathering place, and she said that the first users were very happy to have lots of room for their walkers, and could rest part way down the ramp without fear of having to go the whole stretch.

The ICF is proud to help with community projects. 🥰

The ICF has been getting more money back into our communities!🤩🎆

ICF Board member Perry van der Zweep took a cheque to the Balmoral Community Hall! They completed their front entryway project. Lisa Carter of the Balmoral Community Hall accepted the cheque in the amount of $2500.

The funds for this 2024 Community Grant came from the Guttman Family Fund, the All Communities Fund, the Nell Smith Fund, the Leona and Larry Baker Fund and Community Builder Club.

The Maureen and Glenn Kletke Fund was set up to support the South Interlake Regional Library, Teulon Branch.

Every year, this Designated Fund provides a grant to SIRL Teulon to support their programs/operations. This year, the cheque is for $197.

The Health Care Support Fund was set up by Lloyd Jensen and the late Sue Werner in recognition of the support Sue received from the home care workers during her illness. The Fund will support Home Care and/or Palliative Care services through the Interlake-Eastern Health Foundation.

The first grant to be made from the Health Care Support Fund is for $1,024.

Presenting the award are: ICF's Sandra Smith, Lloyd Jensen, Interlake Eastern Health Foundation's Averill Stevenson, and ICF's Lorna Broadfoot.

ICF volunteer Lorna Broadfoot stopped by Community Living Interlake to drop off a Designated Fund grant! Lorna later said she was so pleased to get a tour of the redesigned facility and to meet with so many lovely people (and the support cat)!

This time, the grant came from the L & L Wenzoski Fund. This fund provides annual support to CLI and this year the cheque is for $213.

The Jennifer Jensen Memorial Fund - Library Support is a Designated Fund that has provided a grant to the South Interlake Regional Library every year since 2020.

This year, Lloyd Jensen and ICF's Sandra Smith presented a cheque of $896 to South Interlake Regional Library's Michael Hepples.

Thank you Lloyd for being so generous and creative with your giving. Thank you SIRL for all you do in supporting literacy in our communities!
