The ICF is proud of the Students Give Back (Youth in Philanthropy) program. And of course we love supporting local charities!

We would like to sincerely thank the Interlake Community Foundation and Warren Collegiate for the funding approved for crafts and equipment. This support allowed us to transform our previous social enterprise gift shop into a welcoming and fully functioning leisure and recreation area designed specifically for people we support at Community Living Interlake.

The Interlake Community Foundation was well represented at the Endow Manitoba Conference this past weekend.

April 26th was also Manitoba's Annual Community Foundation Day! The proclamation proudly celebrates and acknowledges Manitoba Community Foundations' impact on community well-being and the generosity of Manitobans.

ICF Board of Director members Sandra Smith, Cheryle McClure, Michael Hepples, Dawne Smithson, Perry van der Zweep and Bob Beck learned from leaders from Community Foundations of Canada, the Winnipeg Foundation, and collegues. They were able to connect with other Board and staff members from across the province and country.

They were treated to a host event at the Leaf at Assiniboine Park on Saturday evening.

Thank you to Endow Manitoba and the Winnipeg Foundation for supporting local rural Community Foundations!
