Nursing Home Without Walls would like to take this opportunity to thank Brent, Erica, and Robyn for preparing and presenting this very informative NB Power educational session to our community members.

They shared valuable information on understanding our power usage, provided a breakdown of what impacts electricity bills, and brought awareness on recent scams. They also passed along details about the Total Home Energy Savings Program and the Enhanced Energy Savings Program, which will help households significantly reduce power consumption and costs.

This session was both informative and engaging, keeping everyone interested throughout with their approachable presentation style and sense of humour. Their knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to answer questions were truly appreciated.

🌼 NHWW Community Outing Today! 🌼

Today, our Nursing Homes Without Walls participants enjoyed a wonderful outing filled with movement, connection, and community 💛

We started our day at the Willie O’Ree walking track, where participants had the opportunity to move, build confidence, and enjoy a safe, accessible environment for physical activity. It was so encouraging to see everyone engaging at their own pace and supporting one another along the way.

Afterwards, we headed to The Landing in Marysville for coffee and treats, where participants shared conversation, laughter, and meaningful social time together ☕✨

For anyone looking for a safe and accessible place to stay active, the Willie O’Ree walking track is open:
Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM

We feel incredibly blessed and grateful for the ongoing support and amazing attendance at these classes. When this program launched at the end of February, we never could have imagined the response we’ve seen in such a short time. Your commitment, energy, and enthusiasm are exactly what make this program so special.

Our classes are now filling up quickly, and space is becoming tight. We will continue to monitor class sizes and may need to look at an alternate space in the future. Please stay up to date by following our Facebook posts. Any changes will also be announced in person during classes by our Wellness Coordinator, Kelsey Fox.

We still have seats available for our grocery run to Fredericton on May 5th, departing from the Villa at 10:00 a.m.
Stops include:

At Two Nations Crossing, there will be time to branch off and explore Canadian Tire or Dollarama if you wish.
