❄️ WINTER IS COMING. FOR MANY SENIORS, GETTING FOOD IS ABOUT TO BECOME EVEN HARDER.
In Newfoundland and Labrador, we know how difficult winter can be.
Snow-covered sidewalks. Icy roads. Freezing temperatures. Limited transportation.
For older adults facing mobility challenges, isolation, or financial hardship, something as simple as getting groceries can become an enormous obstacle.
That's why our Food Security Program matters so much.
Connections for Seniors helps deliver essential food hampers to older adults who may otherwise struggle to access them.
But we're facing a serious challenge of our own.
🚨 We urgently need a Volunteer Food Van Driver.
Without a driver to collect and transport food hampers, our ability to continue this essential program is at risk.
Our seniors shouldn't have to face another Newfoundland winter wondering where their next groceries will come from.
We provide the van. Even a few hours of your time could make a meaningful difference.
