⭐️ Yesterday, we had the honour of participating in the grand opening of the Expertise Hub Coop, an event that aligns perfectly with the spirit of Co-op Week 2024! 🎉

Expertise Hub is a Canadian co-operative dedicated to empowering immigrant experts by bridging the education and local experience gaps needed to thrive in the Canadian job market. ✨

The event brought together incredible guests, including government officials, university representatives, CEOs, graduate students, non-profits, and co-operative leaders.

We were especially proud to have our very own Mariana Jiménez Ojeda, Manager of Social Innovation at Community Sector Council NL, share her personal insights on the journey of immigrants and newcomers in Newfoundland and Labrador. She also introduced New Assurance Co-op, which aims to break barriers in car insurance accessibility for newcomers. 🚗💡
