Yesterday was a busy day, and though it's a day late, we want to send a huge shoutout to the down the shore ladies who arrived yesterday with an old school spin wheel, and cartons of stuffed toys and prizes - all free with winning tickets and spins - and I am pretty sure that every child went home with something. Glady Sparkes, Marilyn Driscoll, and Valerie Maidment from Lower Island Cove - your generous nature is so very appreciated. I'm not sure if these ladies are on Facebook, but I'd ask folks to share this post and if you're their neighbour, friend, or Facebook friend to let them know how thankful we are for people like them!!! And the stuffed bees stole the show in my opinion!
