What a meaningful time together at our Cross Cultural Parenting Workshop held at Buckmasters Circle Community Centre as we discussed supervision in the Canadian context.

It was so special to learn from one another, share experiences, and grow together in community. Parenting was never meant to be done alone - we are stronger when we support and learn from each other.

This past Wednesday we gathered for our closing in-person Conversation Cafe of the spring season, and it was a beautiful celebration of the cultures and diversity represented within our group. Together, we shared stories, celebrated one another, and spent time enjoying the friendship and belonging found in this community.

Our Conversation Cafe classes - both Online and In-Person - are now finished for the spring season.

Our Online Classes will resume in the Fall, and our In-Person Classes will begin again at our C4 Bethesda Settlement Office (57A Thorburn Road) on July 8th for adults only. Summer classes will take place on July 8, 15, 22, 29, and August 3 from 6:45–8:00 PM (NST).

We had a wonderful morning at our NETGroup (Newcomer Employment Training Group) Workshop: Effective Job Searching. Participants learned practical strategies for searching for jobs more efficiently and effectively, while gaining tools and tips to strengthen their job search process.

Our next NETGroup workshop is happening on Thursday, June 25th and will cover the topic of Effective Resume Writing.

C4 Bethesda in partnership with Collective Interchange had the privilege of hosting an incredible NETGroup (Newcomer Employment Training Group) Workshop at our C4 office, focused on preparing for job interviews.

Due to today's weather and the additional cleanup that will be needed, all in-person Conversation Cafe classes are cancelled tonight, April 1st at Bethesda.

We will be taking a break for Easter, but our in-person classes will resume on Wednesday April 15th!
