The mission of the Training Wheels Family Resource Centre is to enhance children’s opportunity to reach their fullest potential by focusing on programs and activities that:

ned to enhance child
development through play. Parent Programs:
These are learning opportunities that include programs such as “Nobody’s Perfect”, “Handle with Care” and many others, while partnering with organizations within our communities. Healthy Baby Club:
This program covers everything you need to know about pregnancy, childbirth and bringing baby home. It is held weekly and offers vouchers for fruit, eggs and milk. Making Connections:
Through this program, an Outreach Worker will make home visits to introduce families to resources in the area and the programs offered at our Centre. Community Kitchens:
During this program parents get together and cook nutritious meals to take home to their families. We strive to provide a warm, nurturing, non-judgmental environment giving our families an opportunity to live happy, healthy, active lives!
