Seniors Organized Services ( S.O.S.) Is here for you the Seniors of Souris and Glenwood, Elgin . Please gives us a call if you need help with housework, yard work, rides to appointments , when the Handi-van is booked we can help you out with rides. Our next Handi-Van trip to Brandon is Wed. Sept. 2, 2026 Please call our office for more information. We also have ERIK Kits (Emergency Response Information Kits) and hook up Victoria Lifeline. Hoping to hear from you soon!

What a storm last night, many trees were blown over. No power for a few hours, but Hydro got it up and running before bedtime, hoping all of you were safe in your home, as the sheets of rain and the wind would not have been fun to be in the middle of!

WE just had a Handi-Van Trip to Brandon July 29th, 2026, so next trip will be in August call us for more details if you would like to go! More and more, I'm hearing kids and teens talk about the "right" clothing brands, the perfect hairstyle, summer glow ups, social status, screen time, and having the newest devices.

Maybe it's time to place more emphasis on what truly matters.

The moments that shape childhood aren't found on a screen or in a shopping bag. They're found in belly laughs with friends, family dinners, bike rides, catching fireflies, reading a good book, building forts, exploring nature, and simply being present.
The greatest glow up isn't having more. It's feeling connected.

Connected to yourself. Connected to the people you love. Connected to the outdoors and the world around you.

Those simple joys don't just create happy memories. They build resilience, confidence, gratitude, and emotional well being.

Let's remind our kids that their worth isn't measured by what they wear or own, but by who they are, how they treat others, and the meaningful connections they build. 💚

This young county Band is awesome, bring your lawn chairs and sit and enjoy! Music for all ages, and lots of ground if you want to get up and dance too!
