Waldorf Ballet Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the future of classical ballet dancers of the Sunshine Coast.

POST GRADUATE
Designed to bridge the gap between training and a professional career, this post graduate scholarship stream is open to dancers who have graduated from high school and are actively pursuing a professional dance career, but have not yet secured their first company contract. Scholarships give our coastal graduates the chance to gain more experience and take the next steps in their artistic journey.

BURSARIES
Our bursary program opens the doors of ballet to every aspiring dancer by removing financial barriers. Through need-based support, we ensure that dedication and passion, not circumstance, determine who can pursue ballet training and performance opportunities. We believe in arts education for all.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Merit-based scholarships empower exceptional dancers to reach their highest potential. By supporting advanced training, travel to prestigious events, and access to world-renowned pre-professional programs, we help gifted artists take their talent to the world stage.

Our 2026 recipients are heading to exciting opportunities this summer including San Francisco Ballet School and The Rock School for Dance Education. Applications will re-open in early 2027 🩰

🌸🍰☕ Thank You for an Incredible Waldorf Ballet Tea & Treats in Wonderland Mother’s Day Tea! 🌸🐛🎩🐇

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our inaugural Mother’s Day Tea such a wonderful success! A heartfelt thank you to Sunshine Coast Financial Credit Union, all of our guests, donors, and supporters for coming together to celebrate and give back.

A special thank you to Davis Bay Tea Company, The Farm West Sechelt, the Sunshine Coast Community Orchestra Association, our beautiful Waldorf Ballet dancers, and our amazing volunteers for making the day so memorable.

✨ Congratulations to our Advanced Scholarship recipients - Brooklyn Turner and Audrey Altenburg! ✨

Brooklyn has been accepted to the San Francisco Ballet School Summer Intensive, while Audrey is heading to The Rock School for Dance Education Summer Intensive in Philadelphia.

These prestigious programs represent an exciting next step in their training, and we are so proud of their hard work and dedication. Thank you again to our guest adjudicator Racheal Prince for her mentorship and guidance.

We are deeply grateful to our donors and supporters who made this inaugural scholarship event possible. Your support is directly shaping the future of these young coastal artists.
