AN EVENING OF SERVICE, LEADERSHIP & NEW BEGINNINGS

Leadership in action. New Lions. New ideas. A stronger commitment to serve.

The Lions Club of Scarborough had another meaningful monthly meeting, bringing together Lions, prospective members, and special guests for an evening focused on service, leadership, membership, and community impact.

We were honoured to welcome Zone Chairperson Lion Andrew Ellis as our Chief Guest. A highlight of the evening was the meaningful installation and badge-pinning ceremony for our new members, as well as welcoming prospective Lions who are looking forward to becoming part of our growing service family.

New Members. New Leaders. New Opportunities to Serve.

The meeting also provided an excellent platform for our members and guests to exchange ideas and begin planning meaningful community service initiatives for the coming months. These discussions reinforced our commitment to identifying genuine community needs and turning ideas into action.

But Lionism is not only about service—it is also about friendship, fellowship and building lasting relationships.

The evening concluded with wonderful fellowship, networking, laughter, and dinner, creating an opportunity for our members and guests to connect beyond the formal meeting.

A sincere thank you to Zone Chairperson Lion Andrew Ellis for joining us and supporting our club, to our new members and prospective Lions for taking the next step in their service journey, and to every member who continues to contribute their time, ideas, and energy to the Lions Club of Scarborough.

Our journey continues. Our membership grows. Our ideas become action. And our commitment to serve remains stronger than ever.

Together We Serve. Together We Grow. Together We Make a Difference.

Great Legacy Begins with a Vision.

This is where our story began...

One year ago, a dedicated group of passionate individuals came together with a shared vision—to establish a Lions Club that would make a lasting difference in the Scarborough community.

Today, as we celebrate our journey, we proudly honour the Charter Members and Founder Leaders whose commitment, leadership, and unwavering belief laid the foundation for what has become the Lions Club of Scarborough.

Their collective efforts have transformed a vision into a thriving club built on:

Meaningful humanitarian service
Strong community partnerships
Sustainable membership growth
Leadership development

This photograph captures a proud moment of recognition, celebrating the individuals whose dedication has guided our club through its successful first year.

As we reflect on our first year of service, we express our deepest gratitude to every Charter Member, volunteer, sponsor, supporter, and friend who believed in our vision. Your commitment has helped build a club that continues to grow in service, leadership, fellowship, and community impact.

The first year was only the beginning.
