Who's ready to get gardening? 🌱🌻🍅

Our seedling sale has officially kicked off - each plant is $4 and all proceeds are directly reinvested into our food rescue and food security initiatives

Here's what we have growing:
🌱 Herbs (sage, thyme, oregano, basil)
🌱 Tomatoes
🌱 Nasturtiums
🌱 Marigolds
🌱 Curly kale (green & purple)
🌱 Spinach
🌱 Lettuce
🌱 Cucumbers
🌱 Zucchini
🌱 and more!

The sale will continue for the duration of the growing season (or until we run out of seedlings). More will become available as the season goes on, so we'll do our best to post regular updates to let you know what's ready 🌞

Team work makes the dream work 💪🎉

We can't do this food security thing alone - that's why we work with a vast network of amazing partner organizations like The Trifecta Experience to help distribute rescued food to every corner of the Algoma District!

We're grateful to them and every one of the agencies we work with to make sure our community members have enough to eat 🍎🍞

Thank you to Jeff and Chef Ron at Harvest Algoma for showing me around their facility today! You run an impressive food rescue operation! 🤩

We also want to thank you for sending me on my way with 1,072 lbs of rescued food, which our organization was able to distribute to other agencies, community organizations, and numerous families across the North Shore and Elliot Lake.

Your commitment to addressing food insecurity throughout the Algoma region is making a real difference, and we’re incredibly grateful for all that you do. ❤️
