Curious about the shooting sports community? This is your chance to experience it firsthand in a safe, welcoming environment.

Join us on Saturday, June 6th for an afternoon at the Outdoor Rifle Range featuring:

A huge thank you to Larry Link and Link's Backhoe & Skidsteer Services for all of their help here at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation! 👏

From helping us out during the winter months to recently assisting with our septic repair project, Larry and his team have been incredibly generous with both their time and materials. Their support and willingness to lend a hand truly made a difference for us.

THIS TIME WE’RE HEADING OUTDOORS! ☀️🎯

The Saskatoon Recreational Pistol Club will be joining the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation’s National Range Day celebrations on Saturday, June 6 at the SWF Outdoor Ranges!

🕛 12–4 PM Saturday June 6th, 2026
📍 Saskatoon Wildlife Federation Outdoor Ranges 4 & 5
💵$10 entry - Includes lunch and one magazine of ammunition (more available for purchase.)

No membership needed. No fi****ms license needed. Just come out and safely experience recreational pistol shooting with trained volunteers and range officers.

Please note this event will NOT be held at the indoor pistol range. Please check-in at the office trailer upon arrival.

Meet Hank! 🎣🏕️🏈

Hank has spent his whole life enjoying the outdoors — from football and camping to hunting and fishing, he’s always happiest outside and exploring nature. Having grown up attending camp himself, he’s excited to now step into the role of counsellor and help create those same unforgettable experiences for the next generation of campers.

This summer, Hank is looking forward to sharing his passion for the outdoors and showing kids just how much fun outdoor adventures can be! 🌲☀️

What a weekend at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation! 🎯🌱

Saturday’s Rec Pistol Club saw another fantastic turnout, bringing members together for a great day on the range. Then on Sunday, our Community Garden Work Bee absolutely blew us away with the support from volunteers, families, and community partners.

With more helping hands than ever before, we were able to build new garden boxes, refresh existing beds, and move an incredible amount of soil to help our community garden continue to grow for the season ahead.

A massive THANK YOU goes out to Zak's Home Hardware on 51st for generously donating lumber for the new boxes, and to Common Ground Landscapes for their unbelievable support. Not only did they donate and deliver THREE dump truck loads of quality soil, but their team also spent over 6 hours on a Sunday helping build boxes, w**d garden beds, and work alongside our volunteers. That level of community spirit deserves serious recognition. 👏

This is exactly what community is all about — people coming together, donating their time, skills, and resources to create something meaningful for everyone to enjoy.

To everyone who came out to help, thank you for making this one of our biggest and most successful garden work bees yet. We couldn’t do it without you! 💚
