Stop by the Vault at the Salmo Valley Public Library to check out the incredible display featuring the SVTS, put on by the Salmo Valley Historical Society! 📜

The display tells the story of the SVTS and our mission to create, enhance and preserve trails in the Salmo Valley that started all the way back in 2013. Thank you Salmo Valley Historical Society and Salmo Valley Public Library for the feature!!

A huge thank you to the unit crews from Shore Acres - Arrow Base for all their work clearing blowdown from True Blue, Drifter and BSB yesterday! They did an incredible job and we are so grateful for them clearing our trails so quickly after the May 28 storm!!

✅True Blue and Drifter are now clear. Be mindful on the lower sections as some raking and branch clearing needs to be done and watch for minor trail changes (stay tuned for more details about an impromptu volunteer work day this weekend).

❌BSB is unfortunately still closed as the bridge sustained major damage from the blowdown and will need to be repaired.
