بإيمانٍ بالرب يسوع ورجاءٍ بالقيامة، ننعى إليكم انتقال المرحوم الشماس الافدياقون نجيب عيسى كبرو، المولود في زحلة – لبنان بتاريخ ١٢ نيسان ١٩٣٨،

زوجته سلوى كبرو سكاف،
أبنائه: بيار كبرو وبناته نادين وسيرين وسابين،
وبول كبرو وزوجته نينا حداد.
شقيقاه: جميل كبرو وعائلته،
وجوزيف كبرو وعائلته.
شقيقاته: ناديا كبرو، إيميلي كبرو، نهاد كبرو مارينا وعائلتها، ليلى كبرو قرموش وعائلتها، وهدى كبرو داوود وعائلتها.

With faith in God and hope in the Resurrection, we announce the passing of the Sub-Deacon Najib Issa Kabro, who was born on April 12, 1938, in Zahle, Lebanon, and entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was guided by faith, love, and dedication to his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Salwa Kabro Skaf. He leaves behind his cherished sons: Pierre Kabro and his daughters Nadine, Serene, and Sabeen; and Paul Kabro and his wife, Nina Haddad.
Najib is also survived by his brothers, Jamil Gabro and his family, and Joseph Kabro and his family. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters: Nadia Kapro, Emilie Capro, Nouhad Kabro Marina and her family, Layla Kabro Karmouche and her family, and Hoda Kabro Dahoud and her family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George Capro, and his sister, Samira Gabro.
Najib will be deeply missed by all members of the Kabro, Skaf, Gabro, Kapro, Capro, Marina, Karmouche, Dahoud, Haddad, and Choueiri families across Canada, the United States, Lebanon, and Brazil.
A funeral service will be held on Monday June 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St Mary and St Jack Syriac Orthodox Cathedral (7 Boul Desjardins O, Laval, QC J7E 1C9), followed by interment at Magnus Poirier Cemetery in Laval (5505 Rang Du Bas Saint-Francois, Laval, QC H7C 0G3). Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 5 PM to 9PM at St Mary and St Jack Syriac Orthodox Cathedral

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant him a place in His heavenly kingdom. Christ is risen, and through Him, life is everlasting. Memory is eternal.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى ننعى وفاة جورج رسّام الذي انتقل إلى جوار الرب بسلام محاطاً بعائلته يوم ١٠ حزيران ٢٠٢٦
وهو ابن المرحوم جبرائيل رسّام والمرحومة روزين غزال.
زوجته غريس بدروسيان وولديه غابريال وغريغوري رسّام.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Georges Rassam, who departed peacefully surrounded by his family on June 10, 2026.
Son of the late Gebrael Rassam and the late Rozine Ghazal, he leaves behind his beloved wife Grace Bedrossian and his two sons, Gabriel and Gregory Rassam.
Georges is also mourned by:

Frédéric Rassam and family
Audrey Orbach and family
His brother Jacques Rassam
His sister Sarah, wife of Dr. Edouard Hajjar, and their children:

He will also be greatly missed by:

His cousin Chaza Saba, wife of Nabih Saba
His cousin Lena Ghazal and family

Georges also leaves to mourn the Ghazal, Yandem, Hajjar, Bedrossian, Varjabedian, and Hovassapian families, as well as many dear friends and colleagues in Canada and Lebanon.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent.
The funeral service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., followed by the burial in the adjacent cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary and St. Jacob of Nisibis Cathedral would be appreciated.
