52°C: In the furnace of Pakistan, every sip of water is a victory over death. ☀️🔥
In Pakistan, summer is a four-month battle for survival. With a heat index reaching 52°C, the heat is not just a discomfort; it is a daily, life-threatening danger for the orphans and persecuted children we support.

Without protection, these children wander under the blazing sun. We have to buy drinking water for them in our rented house, as the tap water is unsafe to drink. Without our intervention, they have no safe source of hydration to survive.

We cannot leave these little ones to suffer from thirst, but our resources are limited.

"And whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward." — Mark 9:41 🥛

Abandoned in the street, became top of his class 🏆: Discover Nehemia's miraculous destiny thanks to love of others ❤️

Nehemia is 10 years old, but he was only 6 when he was found with his younger brother and sister in front of a crowded hospital, scavenging through garbage to try and survive.

Their clothes were torn, their faces showed great signs of exhaustion, and it was clear they had been struggling to survive for a long time.

Their father, trapped by his addictions, had sunk into a despair that led to abandoning his children. 💔 These three very young children were thus left to fend for themselves on the street, exposed to all kinds of dangers at such a young age: sleeping alone on the street, the risk of violence and total insecurity, hunger, thirst in 40-degree heat. Without parents to protect them, each day was a brutal struggle, never knowing if they would eat again or if they would even survive until the next day, not to mention the immense pain of having been abandoned by their own parents.

When our missionary discovered them, he couldn't look away and his heart broke. Despite his own poverty and the persecution he faces as a Christian in Pakistan, he took them under his wing, asking God for help.

Thanks to this act of love and solidarity, Nehemiah's destiny and his siblings has been changed forever. Today, Nehemiah is fed, loved, and thriving. He has become top of his class and received a merit award! 🏆 Isn't that a beautiful hope worth sharing?
