Accueillons chaleureusement notre nouveau président: Michel Martin! 💚
"Chers membres de l'Association du lac Rognon,
C'est avec beaucoup de fierté et d'émotion que j'accepte la présidence de notre association. Je remercie sincèrement les membres pour la confiance qu'ils m'accordent.
Mon attachement au lac Rognon remonte à bien avant ma naissance. Ma mère était enceinte de moi lors de sa première visite au lac, en 1964. Depuis ce temps, le lac fait partie de mon histoire et de celle de ma famille.
J'y suis profondément attaché. J'y ai grandi au son des marteaux et des scies mécaniques qui construisaient les premiers chalets, mêlés aux rires et aux cris des enfants qui passaient leurs journées à jouer dans l'eau après une bonne journée d'ouvrage pour les parents et de jeux pour les plus jeunes. Ces souvenirs font partie de moi et témoignent de l'esprit de camaraderie et de simplicité qui a toujours animé notre communauté.
En tant que fils de l'une des pionnières du lac, j'ai eu le privilège de voir évoluer ce lieu exceptionnel au fil des années. Aujourd'hui, c'est avec humilité et un profond respect pour ceux qui ont bâti cette communauté que j'accepte d'en assurer la présidence.
Mon engagement est simple : travailler avec vous, être à l'écoute de vos préoccupations et contribuer à protéger notre lac, son environnement et la qualité de vie qui nous rassemble. Je crois que c'est ensemble, dans le respect et la collaboration, que nous continuerons à faire du lac Rognon un endroit unique où il fait bon vivre et transmettre nos traditions aux générations futures.
Je vous remercie de votre confiance et j'espère avoir le plaisir de collaborer avec chacun d'entre vous au cours de mon mandat.

"Dear members of the Lake Rognon Association,
It is with great pride and emotion that I accept the presidency of our association. I sincerely thank the members for the trust they have placed in me.
My connection to Lake Rognon dates back to long before I was born. My mother was pregnant with me during her first visit to the lake in 1964. Since then, the lake has been part of my history and that of my family.
I am deeply attached to it. I grew up there to the sound of hammers and power saws building the first cottages, mingled with the laughter and shouts of children who spent their days playing in the water after a hard day’s work for their parents and a day of play for the younger ones. These memories are part of who I am and reflect the spirit of camaraderie and simplicity that has always animated our community.
As the son of one of the lake’s pioneers, I have had the privilege of watching this exceptional place evolve over the years. Today, it is with humility and deep respect for those who built this community that I accept the role of president.
My commitment is simple: to work with you, listen to your concerns, and help protect our lake, its environment, and the quality of life that brings us together. I believe that it is together, through respect and collaboration, that we will continue to make Lake Rognon a unique place where life is good and where we can pass on our traditions to future generations.
