Some wonderful memories from Sunday’s Multicultural Eid Carnival & Asian Heritage Festival ❤️

Muslim Cultural Society of Saint John Inc was proud to be part of this beautiful multicultural event, bringing together people from different cultures, backgrounds, and communities. It was a day filled with laughter, friendship, cultural celebration, community connections, and family fun. This event was a true reflection of diversity and inclusivity, where everyone felt welcomed, valued, and celebrated. A heartfelt thank you to the City of Saint John for its support, and to all the volunteers, vendors, community organizations, and attendees who helped make the day so special. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more connected, and welcoming community for all.

Yesterday’s SHE CONNECTS session was truly incredible. The energy in the room, the connections, and the sense of community made it so special. The session was full of valuable information, engaging conversations, and a fun, welcoming environment. It was also kids-friendly, making it easier for moms to attend and be part of the experience without any barriers.

We had powerful discussions around women empowerment, community building, and personal growth, and it was inspiring to see everyone so engaged.

A heartfelt thank you to our special guests for sharing their knowledge and insights—you truly added so much value to the session.

Yesterday’s Annual Community Iftar was a beautiful and meaningful evening. People from different cultures, religions, and countries came together to celebrate Ramadan. Everyone sat together, shared a meal, and connected with one another. It truly reflected the spirit of diversity, inclusion, and community.

It was also special because the evening took place on International Women’s Day. The event was honored by the presence of inspiring women leaders who are serving our region with dedication and leadership, including Donna Reardon, Mayor of Saint John, Dr. Nancy Grant, Mayor of Rothesay, Mary Schryer Deputy Mayor of Quispamsis, and Donna Reardon. It was wonderful to celebrate a day that recognizes the strength and achievements of women with such remarkable leaders.

It was a great turnout and a heartwarming evening. Thank you to all the community members who joined and made the night so memorable. Together, moments like this continue to strengthen our community. 🌙✨🤝

Our community reflects beautiful diversity through different traditions, languages, backgrounds, and cultural experiences. This organization was created to celebrate that diversity while strengthening connection, understanding, and unity within our community and beyond.

The Muslim Cultural Society of Saint John Inc. focuses on cultural awareness, community engagement, youth participation, educational initiatives, and meaningful collaboration with the wider community. Through cultural programs, social events, workshops, and community gatherings, we aim to create a welcoming space where individuals and families feel connected, supported, and valued.

Our mission is to preserve cultural heritage, encourage mutual respect, support newcomers, empower families and youth, and build bridges across communities through shared values of compassion, inclusivity, and service.
