Applications are closing this weekend!

✨Applications are now open!✨

We are excited to announce I-Click 2026 will be returning this summer July 20th - July 30th, weekdays from 1:00pm until 4:30pm.

This program invites youth to amplify their voices through photography, and to explore what they feel is important for our community to understand about who they are, what they've experienced, and the strengths and challenges faced as youth in our community.

In I-Click, you will learn from each other, gain new skills, experiment with professional cameras, and showcase your favourite photographs in an art exhibit at the Thirdshift Festival! Together, the group will decide on a theme for the year. Participants will take photos within the theme while working with a mentor who helps them explore the theme and its connection to their lived experience. This is a no-cost program, and no experience is required to join as you will learn camera basics during program days.

Applications are open until May 30th!

As we approach the exhibit, we wanted to take a moment to share more details regarding the event and the event space.

The exhibit opens at 5pm! We are number 13 on the Third Shift map which you can find at . We will have a welcome table with information about the exhibit and prints available for purchase (all proceeds will go directly to the artist). We will also be serving light refreshments! As a program focused on collaborative art, we encourage you to check out our instant photo table and photo booth as a way for you to contribute to our installation.

Below are the accessibility considerations for our I-Click Exhibition Event:

Physical Environment:
- This is both an indoor and outdoor space that is wheelchair accessible and on an incline.
- The exhibit is set up in the solarium (dining space) of the Saint John City Market at 47 Charlotte Street.
- This is a long hallway type space with a slight incline.
- Tables and chairs will be moved from the inside of the space and scattered across the outside area of the space.
- Access to the exhibit will be from the outside doors at the lower entrance off Germain Street.
- Guests are able to circulate up and down the room to look at all the photographs, which means it may become crowded.
- There are multi-stall, gendered public bathrooms available inside and are wheelchair accessible.

Sensory Considerations:
- During this installation, you can expect dim lighting during the evening hours of the exhibit.

Content Considerations:
- This installation is a representation of youth experiences in the city. The subject matter of this installation is a combination of both emotional and uplifting experiences.

We are looking forward to seeing you this Saturday, August 16th at 5pm! We would also like to encourage you to make your way through the other Third Shift installations throughout the evening.
