Today is Spirit Day💜

2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Canada experience high rates of bullying and discrimination which can include physical, verbal, and sexual harassment.

77% of 2SLGBTQIA+ Canadian youth had been bullied in 2021.

Spirit Day is a reminder of the importance of creating inclusive spaces where everyone can feel safe, supported, and valued not just today, but every day.

Let’s raise awareness about the importance of ending bullying and commit to a more equitable New Brunswick for everyone.

Chroma would like to thank all of the members of our chosen family who came to the Imperial Theatre last Monday! Our reception went well and we hope everyone enjoyed the screening of the TIFF Film Circuit selection "Mile End Kicks".

Thank you all for continuing to support us, whether or not you were able to make it this time!

Chroma NB is heading to Ottawa on October 6 to bring the needs of q***r and trans communities in New Brunswick to Parliament Hill.

We’re joining organizations from across Canada for a Q***r Day of Action, calling on the federal government to renew and expand the Federal 2SLGBTQI+ Action Plan.

Every day, we work with people who need support, connection and services that understand them. We see where the gaps are and what a difference it makes when our communities have the resources they need.

Taking time away from that work isn’t easy. But we want federal decision-makers to hear directly about what matters to the people we serve.

At a time when q***r and trans communities are facing growing challenges, we need Canada to keep moving forward with a renewed, expanded and fully funded action plan.
