Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation The Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation raises funds to enhance patient care at the Sturgeon Community Hospital.

The Foundation is supported by the generous donations of individuals, corporations, organizations and service clubs. Funding comes from a variety of sources including annual campaigns, major gifts, endowments, memorial/tribute gifts and our three annual fundraising events: The Friend Raiser Gala, Heritage Golf Classic and Life and Culture event, as well as numerous third party events.

"Without the Sturgeon I wouldn't be here to be able to thank all the firefighters and ambulance drivers, police officers, nurses, surgeons, medics and everyone who works so hard to help others. I wouldn't be here without you guys."

Todd couldn't have known that a simple evening would end in a fight for his life. After falling into a stormwater pond, in 2022, his heart stopped. The paramedics did an amazing job in the field and got him to the Sturgeon as fast as they could.

He was placed on full life support. His parents were told that chances of survival were low—but the team never gave up. His doctors called it miraculous.

It was the incredible care from this hospital that saved his life. For weeks, they stood by him, providing the advanced care that allowed him to go on to live a normal, healthy life.
