Openings are available for youth 12 - 16 in our July 4th Challenge for young ladies.

This is a no fee for service opportunity for youth referred by a professional mentor.

Aaron Friedenthal – Director at the St. Albert Sturgeon Community Foundation!

Aaron is a lawyer at ATB Financial, leading Legal Services and Corporate Governance. He’s also a key voice in the field as Chair of the Edmonton Chapter of Governance Professionals of Canada and a frequent speaker on governance topics. ⚖️

Beyond work, Aaron is all about community—serving on boards like Cantilon Choral Music Society and helping oversee ATB’s pension funds. 🎶

With family roots in St. Albert since 1973, Aaron and his wife Heather, a local teacher, are proud to raise their two kids here. You might catch him walking in the river valley or hitting the golf course.

He’s proud to support the St. Albert and Sturgeon County communities through SASCF and continue giving back. 💙
