The Alberta Association of Complementary Equine Therapy (AACET), is a multi modality professional association for Equine Therapy providers working within Alberta. The goal of AACET is to promote unity throughout the industry, as well as to increase credibility, responsibility, and transparency by creating a governing body for Equine Therapists. The focus is to establish modality specific standards

of education and practice, to help ensure the quality of care provided by Alberta's Equine Therapy Practitioners. 3. Increase credibility, responsibility and transparency in the Equine Therapy industry in Alberta
4. Provide a Disciplinary and Governing Board for the Equine Therapy Industry in Alberta
5. Provide insurance to our members
6. Facilitate dialogue and collaboration between Equine Therapists and Veterinarians working within Alberta
7. Work in conjunction with the Alberta Association of Animal Owner’s Rights in an effort to provide information and education to the public in regards to Equine Therapy in Alberta
