My story
With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and testicular cancer being the most common for males ages 15-35, I hope my story can help raise awareness, and let others who may be going through this know they are not alone. I was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer and had surgery within 24 hours of receiving the news. I still have a long road ahead with more tests and diagnosis to come. This isn't how I imagined my last few months of my grad year but I am thankful for the doctors and access to tests that caught this quickly. I hope this can inspire others to support this goal and increase knowledge about the importance of self screening for early detection.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
Think about the impact we can make together!
