Merci à tous nos bénévoles!

Thank you to all our volunteers! 🙏🙏🙏

Focusing on our volunteers for event 6 race report—we nearly had to cancel but because several first time volunteers stepped up we were able to make it happen.

First a big shoutout to Andre, who stepped in to be race director on a last minute basis and did course tear down afterwards.

And a big thank you to Nathalie, one of our regular volunteers who is truly invaluable in making this event a success on an ongoing basis.

And to our several newcomers, who joined at the last minute just to make sure we didn’t have to cancel: Laura, Emma and Nick, we couldn’t have done this without you and appreciate your time so much 🙏

And last, but certainly not least, a big thank you to Chantal and Scott for coming early to do the course set up and check! They did wonderfully for their first time!

As a 100% volunteer led event, we can’t emphasize enough how much it means to us to have your support.

Should we do a challenge to see who can reach 25 volunteer credits for Mill Creek Nature parkrun first? 🤔

Come earn yours this weekend! We have plenty of spots to fill, including timekeeping, marshalling, handing out finish tokens and barcode scanning.

We need at least three volunteers to make this weekend happen!

We had 27 participants, including two who also earned volunteer credits, and another 7 volunteers for event five. We even had four people who came out early to set up 🤩

We had 6 new parkrunners and another 6 folks new to Mill Creek Nature. Seeing all these new faces is truly what keeps us volunteers coming back!

Eight participants had PBs this week, which is SO cool to see on such a challenging course! You’re welcome for the hill training 😏😉

Don’t forget to sign up to volunteer for next week…the roster is a bit thin right now so you can have your pick of the litter on roles!
