Ca-R-Ma.org consists of a group of dedicated volunteers striving to humanely reduce the population of unwanted cats and kittens. We also take measures to improve the lives of homeless cats, and make every effort to place non-feral free roaming cats and kittens in approved adoptive homes. We are a registered charity in Canada and the funds raised in each chapter are used in that chapter. With the c

ooperation of local veterinarians, we operate Trap/Neuter/Return programs. Trap
Using humane live traps, we capture free roaming cats in local colonies. Neuter
Our dedicated vets neuter/spay the abandoned or feral cat. Return
We place the cat back in its colony where it will live out its natural life without being able to reproduce. Caregivers at each colony make sure the cats have adequate food, water, and shelter for life. Our long term goals include supporting education to change attitudes regarding the importance of spay/neutering and working with other animal rescue groups to bring about legislation for the benefit of all animals.
