Watch for FROSTBITE in the cold weather.

This means that your flesh freezes. Blood vessels
are damaged and the reduced blood flow can
lead to gangrene. Frostbitten skin looks waxy
and feels numb. Once tissue becomes hard, it is a
medical emergency.
Treatment
• Get medical aid.
• Warm the area with body heat—do not rub.
• Do not thaw hands and feet unless medical
aid is far away and there is no chance of
refreezing. It is best to thaw body parts at a

Please join is in supporting our local community this holiday season.

You're invited to drop off non-perishable food donations at the Alliance by December 15th.

The Richmond Hill Food Bank has shared some items that are currently most in need: boxed cereal, canned fruit, canned tomatoes, canned beans, dried beans in a bag, tinned stew, canned meat and fish, canned vegetables, peanut butter, jam, instant coffee, tea, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and toilet paper.
