Though her time with us was short, the beauty of her spirit and her passionate love for life continue to inspire. Brook Adele Nadjiwon (October 28, 2016 – May 30, 2024) was a vibrant 7‑year‑old from St. Joseph Island, Ontario, whose bright eyes, radiant smile, and love for music, family, and life brought joy to everyone around her. She was known for her creative spirit, piano playing, and a deep c

This page is dedicated to celebrating Brookie — a bright, bubbly, and creative soul who filled every day with laughter, kindness, and love. She loved:
• Playing piano, which revealed her natural musical gifts from a young age
• Being outside on the family farm—gardening, planting blackberries, caring for animals, climbing trees, and helping at the veggie stand
• Building Legos, snuggling her animal friends, reading stories, and wearing her favourite onesie pajamas
• Laughing and sharing adventures with her sisters Heidi and Willa, and brothers Silas and Flint, as well as countless cousins and community members who loved her dearly. Brookie will always be remembered for:
• Her infectious joy, her big welcoming smile, and sparkling eyes
• Her creativity, gentle heart, and caring nature towards everyone around her
• The beautiful little musician she was — she couldn’t pass by a piano without being drawn to sit and play

This page has been created by the Brook Nadjiwon Memorial Fund, a registered not for profit corporation, to allow you to share your memories, inform you of fund-raising events to continue Brook’s legacy, and give ways you can donate to help keep her memory alive through music. Brook Nadjiwon was found to be unexpectedly talented musically on the piano and was naturally gifted. Brook’s teacher was amazed at her ability, love for, and motivation on the piano. Since Brooks untimely death at 7 years old in 2024, this fund was established to honour Brook’s memory and help other budding musicians on St Joseph Island and Lake Huron’s Northshore explore, find, and grow their love of music through individual, private lessons on St Joseph Island like the ones that Brookie loved, learned, and grew so much from.
