Thank you to everyone who has supported our band students over the years. We would also like to extend a very special thank you to the teachers in the Thom area for their dedication, encouragement, and commitment to music education.

With the changes to the band program for next year, the Thom Area Band Parents Association has made the difficult decision to discontinue its operations.

We sincerely hope that all students will continue to pursue and enjoy music education in the years ahead. We wish everyone a wonderful future filled with music, learning, and new opportunities.

The Regina Public School Division, despite significant calls from stakeholders, organizations and parents to pause or stop their planned changes to its elementary Band program, have decided to continue forward with their transformational plan.

Join us for a Parent Information Night to learn more about the MusicCentre@Dieppe and changes to the elementary Band program. RPS Music Parent Association representatives have been connecting with the Division regarding the proposed changes and plan.

Date: Wednesday May 13th, 7:00pm
Location: University of Regina - Education Building Auditorium

Cost: FREE to attend & no registration required.
