My apologies for missing this posting from October 5th.

Thank you to ALL our Teachers at Judge Bryant Elementary for your care and dedication for all the students to thrive.

The children you're teaching today will become the leaders of the future, the ones who shape our communities, and raise families and possibly teach long after we are gone.

Thank you for helping the children today build a solid foundation for future success. It is so much more than just a grade!!

Every year on October 5th, the world celebrates World Teachers’ Day to highlight the responsibilities, rights, and the value of teachers. UNESCO introduced World Teachers’ Day in 1994 to draw attention to teachers’ contributions and achievements, as well as to teachers’ concerns and objectives in education. The date of October 5th was chosen as the international day to honour teachers since it was on that date in 1966 that a special intergovernmental meeting accepted the UNESCO Recommendation on the Status of Teachers.

The theme of World Teachers' Day 2026 is "Standing with teachers: 60 years of protecting the profession, advancing its status and shaping our futures."

Re Post - For all High School Students

On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Regina Public Schools is hosting a post-secondary grad fair at the mâmawêyatitân centre at 3355-6th Avenue in Regina from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. We encourage all Regina Public high school students to attend with their families. This post-secondary grad fair will showcase over 60 post-secondary institutions, employers, and community organizations available in Saskatchewan and across many provinces. In addition, there will be businesses on site for potential employment opportunities. As you navigate the fair, you will encounter a diverse array of programs, institutions, and businesses, each eager to share their offerings and answer your questions. There will be door prizes that all students who attend will be eligible to enter.

The University of Regina, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and Regina Public Schools will have bursaries for eligible Grade 12 students to enter. The University of Regina is also awarding one bursary to a Grade 11 student! This event will help you discover the next steps after high school, which will leave you with a wealth of information and excitement about your future.
