In honor of National Poetry Month, we’ve devoted more time to reading! The Hawk Principle emphasizes education as a fundamental resource and to engage in continuous learning. These works by Hollay Ghadery, Tolu Oloruntoba, Courtney Bates-Hardy, Chris Bailey & Rebecca Salazar, explore relatable, engaging, gut-wrenching, thought-provoking ideas and stories. From a wide range of intersecting perspectives, histories and experiences, topics of family, parenthood, politics, climate, gender, grief, love, justice and so much more.
Hollay Ghadery’s poetry book ‘Rebellion Box’ is a witty and enthusiastic journey through the looking glass of parenthood. Sometimes dark and comedic, always heartfelt and raw… Hollay weaves a narrative that encapsulates the beautiful and twisted reality that is the human experience.
Tolu Oloruntoba’s book is accurately named as ‘Unravel’ because of his ability to weave multitudes of societal webs into solidified, insightful symbols and testament. Truly unraveling this world as it’s known and the range of unique possibilities to dismantle and reimagine it.
Any of these spark your interest? Poetry unlocks something for everyone. If you want to learn more about any of these works please send us a message. We would love to hear from you! 😊
Happy National Poetry Month & Happy Reading! 🎊
