Saskatchewan Arts Alliance

Saskatchewan Arts Alliance The SAA is a non-profit coalition of arts organizations and an advocate for the arts in Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan Arts Alliance (SAA) advocates on issues such as public funding of the arts, freedom of expression and artists' working conditions. We advocate healthy levels of public and private support, encourage public acknowledgment of the arts, encourage and assist in the development of arts education, provide information related to the arts and provide a forum for issues affecting the arts and cultural industries.

Righting Relations Canada is bringing a one-day workshop to Regina on June 30th, 2026! This event uses popular theatre to address complex social issues. They will bring together staff and volunteers working at different arts organizations with the goal of building relationships, understanding the impact of systemic and institutional racism and exploring ways to transform your organization in positive, community-centred ways.

The Government of Canada announced a $600 million investment in Canadian culture. This funding will provide immediate support for Canada’s audio and audiovisual sectors; however, this decision raises serious concerns about the long-term sustainability and predictability of cultural funding in the digital environment.

We will be sharing more about this soon! Keep an eye out for our response.
