Hey, everyone! We are holding our second STEM session on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 from 1PM-4PM at the 246 Sackville Street (Toronto, ON, M5A 3S4) ground floor party room! This FREE session is directed towards middle-school students (gr. 4-8). Together, we will learn the significance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and more importantly, how fun it can be! Not to mention, there will be FREE refreshments and a CASH PRIZE to be won for the in-session competition! ADMISSION IS LIMITED SO PLEASE RESERVE YOUR POSITION ASAP VIA THE LINK BELOW! Hey, everyone! We are holding our first “explore STEM” session on Sunday, July 8th, 2018 from 1:30PM-3:30PM at the 246 Sackville Street (Toronto, ON, M5A 3S4) ground floor party room!
This FREE session is directed towards middle-school students (gr. 7-8). Together, we will learn the significance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and more importantly, how fun it can be!

We are a group of passionate undergraduate students from Regent Park working on a grassroots project. Our goal is of engaging young people from Regent Park students to STEM programs.

We believe community is the future world. As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”-with that in mind, we would like young people in the community to immerse in the potential of STEM education. Unfortunately, not many youth in the community strive for this. The stigma of STEM only suited for intelligent individuals, and lack of appropriate academic support discourages the idea for youths to challenge themselves wholly. We believe intelligence is innate for everyone, however some suffer from latency and never get the chance to vitalize it. We want to change that. We want to give the youth a chance to explore their intelligence with STEM.

Currently, we are in the initial stages of this project and require data and input from Regent Park youth to proceed. Once that is completed, we can move on to formulating and implementing our ideas. However, we require YOUR help to do so.
