❄️💙 Community support shines brightest—even in the coldest weather! 💙❄️

On April 16th, Central Alberta Co-op proudly presented a cheque for $1,432 to Special Olympics Red Deer following their incredible Cup of Kindness Campaign.

Representing Central Alberta Co-op was Jaydene Frechette. Accepting on behalf of Special Olympics Red Deer were Chair Jerry Tennant, athlete Jayson Stubitsch, and fundraiser Nicole Sather.

Despite the cold temperatures and falling snow, the presentation was a wonderful reminder that generosity knows no season.

We are incredibly grateful to Central Alberta Co-op and all of their amazing customers for supporting our athletes and helping create more opportunities through sport, inclusion, and community.

Our Indoor Soccer squad ended the season in style. They battled another team from the women’s league at the Collicut Centre. They had been begging for an opportunity to play a real game on a real field and they had a great time competing. A great way to end the indoor season.
