Feral Felines Sanctuary

Feral Felines Sanctuary We are small group of people who care daily for the residents of a feral cat sanctuary. The Feral Cat Sanctuary was established in 2018.

In 2017 Alley Cats Rescue was offered to lease a private property and build a feral cat Sanctuary. Build by our volunteers the Sanctuary consist of Insulated, heated building with completely enclosed yard. We have a team of dedicated volunteers going to the site daily to clean, provide fresh food and water and just to hang out and talk to the residents. As they are feral they usually hide and wat

ch. With time, some get use to the human presence and start coming closer and closer for treats. We don't see many when we are there, but we have few indoor and outdoor cameras installed to monitor their interactions, condition and overall well being. Unfortunately as of June 2022 Alley Cats Rescue dos no longer exist. But a small group of dedicated volunteers continued to care for the residents at the Sanctuary. This has been and for now is their home. Every day the residents are checked on by the dedicated volunteers. They ensure there is fresh water and food. All the litter boxes are cleaned. Clean, Wipe shelves and perches. Vacuum the cat trees and floors. Change beds and blankets and so much more

Watch for any signs of illness. The building is being repaired and modified to be more functional and entertaining for the cats. Checking on the fence/enclosure structure is crucial to ensure the cats are safe inside and no predictors are able to get in. We do not take in new cats as the existing residents were allowed to remain on the property by the property owners, but we don't have permission or resources to bring in new cats.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of one of our most dedicated volunter. 💔🕊️
An animal lover who had deep affection, respect, and empathy for creatures of all kinds.

Rhonda was a wonderful person who made a lasting impact on our team and the cats at the Sanctuary.
She had a deep connection with her own cats as well as the cats she cared for.
A dedicated heart, forever in the paws of the cats she loved. 🐾

She didn't just volunteer, she poured her heart into caring for our feline friends. For many years Rhonda spent countless hours making sure our feral cats were fed, have clean water, clean beds, toys, clean litter boxes and anything else that would make life in the sanctuary better.
She possessed the rare patience needed to care for our feral cats, offering love to those who needed it most.
She spoke their quiet language and gave them comfort. She would sit on the floor talking to them. Making sure they knew that they are not forgotten and unwanted.
Showing up rain or shine to ensure they were cared for.
We are forever thankful for her unwavering dedication. ❤️

✨ We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
🕯️ Rest in peace, Rhonda. You will be deeply missed by all of us—humans and felines alike. 😿🕊️❤️
She will be missed, but her legacy of kindness lives on in the sanctuary and every cat she met.😇

With heavy heart we are making this post. 💔
We lost the beautiful , but elusive Jessica.
🌈 🐾 🐈
We rerely caught a glimpse of her, but she has been a resident at the Sanctuary since 2019. Jessica came from the streets. It's unknown how long she has been out there. She was pregnant at the time and was moved to a foster home where she had her babies. She was a good mom to her babies. After the kittens were ready for adoption she was moved back to the sanctuary as she was still very feral.
Even though we didn't have much interaction with her, we are still deeply saddened by her passing. 💔😢
