Grade 5 Farm Safety Field Trip is a wrap! Thank you so much to Innisfail & District Agricultural Society for including us in this fabulous event! Stops this year for day one included Vander Gun Dairy and the Dairy Saloon, Dersta Farm Ltd. , Edgar Farms , Alberta Goat Association, Alberta Canola and Red Deer County!

The local grade 5 classes had a blast learning farm safety and we are proud to partner with our fellow ag society to bring this to the kids of the area 🧑‍🌾

Thank you to Kyle Fraser and his team for organizing two days worth of farm safety as well as reba.realestate for volunteering on behalf of Spruce View Ag 🥰

Our arena has seen an upgrade last month! We received brand new meeting room chairs from Fine Line Stationary in Edson! We appreciate this much needed upgrade to our meeting room seating.

Rink Attendant Needed!

The Spruce View Agricultural Society invites sealed tenders to provide caretaking services for the Diamond Jubilee Recreation Center (Arena) in Dickson, Alberta. The position is a contract position running from September - April.

Applicants will need to have valid insurance, coverage through WCB and a GST number.

Job duties include maintenance of facility, janitorial duties, ice flood and maintenance as well as overseeing of events at the arena during that time frame.

**Grade 5 Farm Safety Field Trip**

The Innisfail & Spruce View Agricultural Societies are looking for volunteers to help make this important day a success!

📅 **Date:** Tuesday, June 2
⏰ **Time:** 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 **Location:** Local farms in the area

We need volunteers to be stationed at farms, helping guide students through interactive farm safety learning stations.

👩‍🌾 **Who’s attending?**
Grade 5 students from:

* Innisfail
* Spruce View
* Penhold
* St. Patrick’s (Red Deer)

🥪 **Perk:** Subway lunch will be provided for all volunteers!

This is a great opportunity to support local youth, promote farm safety, and be part of a meaningful community event.
