This is how it all started. This was the very first Gold Rush Sled Dog Mail Run Envelope ever carried by a dog sled. There was only one single envelope that year and it was addressed to Jeff Dinsdale one of a group of mushing friends that wanted to start a mail run here in Quesnel. How cool is that! We were lucky enough to have him join our first planning meeting of the season last night. Great news for all of you he is willing to share his knowledge of the history of the Mail Run with us. So if you have a question for him please message us and I will get an answer! Look for future posts from Jeff The Historian.

We were so honoured to have Dolly Parton and the Imagination Library help our teams deliver books to kids on Wells at last year's event! What a special woman. Her reach is felt far and wide and she will be missed. RIP Dolly Parton.
