We painted to town...with husky hair! Dogs had a blast front to back. Fiddler, Reece, Cheddar and Maya. We had fun and survived the Billy Barker Days Quesnel parade -Sarah

What do sled dogs do in the summer? They slow down
and relax. Their double coat that keeps them warm in the winter now helps keep them cool in the summer. Their metabolism slows down so they don't burn as many calories so reducing their high protein diet helps keep them trim. They are always up for an adventure don't get me wrong but they are pretty happy to just relax and snooze the days away...until the first cool day when they reboot and get ready for another amazing winter of fun.
