Is there joy in your city? 🎈

The welfare of a city is the responsibility of the believers who God has planted there.

Joy is a fruit of the Spirit. So if there's great joy in a city, then the Spirit is alive and active through believers in that city!

What a day! ☀️🎉

From sunshine and parachuters overhead to conversations with friends and neighbours, Qualicum Family Day 2026 was one for the books.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared a conversation, grabbed a coffee, or left with a freshly painted face. These moments remind us why we love being part of this community.

We love our town. ❤️

From painting walls, to pulling weeds, organizing spaces, cleaning, fixing, and caring for the little details — every helping hand matters. There’s a place for every age and ability at our upcoming Workbee!

We believe in stewarding well the house we’ve been entrusted with, creating a space that is welcoming, cared for, and ready for all God wants to do in and through it.

Come laugh, work hard, connect with others, and be part of building something meaningful together.

Oh, and if you’ve been to a workbee in the past, you’ll know that we feed you, and there’s always coffee!

Recently, a team from our church had the opportunity to serve at Esperanza Ministries on the west coast of Vancouver Island — a mission that supports many remote First Nations communities along the coast.

The team spent the 3 days offering practical support and encouragement to the staff and volunteers through building projects, painting, cleaning, organizing, stocking woodsheds, and caring for the property grounds. With such a large and active site, there is always meaningful work to be done — and opportunities for every age to serve.

It was a joy to help steward the land and support those faithfully sharing the love of Jesus in remote coastal communities.

To the new moms, hopeful moms, single moms, grieving moms, grandmothers, spiritual moms, and the moms holding it all together in the everyday moments — we see you, we love you, and we’re praying for you.

Join us this Sunday at CFC as we celebrate the incredible women who shape our lives, our homes, and generations to come. We’re so expectant for the encouraging and faith-filled word that Tammy Roy will be sharing! 🤍
